What We Offer

Gate Electronics and Whole-Home Networks

We're a LiftMaster, HySecurity, and Ghost Controls gate dealer and a networking crew for North Georgia homes. Most of our work starts at the driveway or the floor plan: operators, access control, and Wi-Fi that reaches the back of the house. Cameras, automation, theater, and audio sit behind those specialties when the house needs them. One local crew designs, installs, and answers the phone afterward.

Our Specialties, Then the Rest

Automatic Gates

Our lead specialty. As a LiftMaster, HySecurity, and Ghost Controls dealer, we install operators, keypads, remotes, app entry, video intercom, and exit sensors sized to your driveway. Modernization when the gate is solid but the opener quit.

Networking & Wi-Fi

Our co-lead specialty. Wired backbone and access points placed for your floor plan, so the back bedroom, garage, and porch stay online. Cameras and gate apps need that coverage to work.

Security Cameras & Alarms

Secondary to our gate and networking work, and often paired with both. Cameras on the driveway and doors, alarms on your phone, footage you can pull up from anywhere.

Smart Home Automation

Lighting, locks, climate, and scenes when you want one app after the network is solid. We keep it simple enough for everyone in the house to run.

Home Theater

Dedicated rooms and living room upgrades when you want the picture and sound dialed in. Secondary work we take on for homes we already know.

Audio / Video

Multi-room music and distributed video with wiring hidden in the walls. Built on the same network backbone we install for the rest of the house.

Smart Lighting

Scenes, schedules, and dimming once the network is in place. One tap for dinner or lights-out; the porch light handles dusk on its own.

Smart Locks & Access

Door locks and video doorbells that pair with gate access control when you want the house and the driveway on the same routine.

Outdoor Entertainment

Weather-rated speakers, outdoor TVs, and patio lighting for mountain weather. We plan outdoor coverage with the same network that runs the house.

From First Call to Working System

01

You Reach Out

Call, email, or send the estimate form. Tell us about the gate, the dead spots, or both. You don't need model numbers, just the problem.

02

On-Site Consultation

We walk the driveway and the house before we quote. Recommendations come after we've seen the entry, the walls, and how you use the place.

03

We Handle Everything

Installation, programming, testing, cleanup. We show your family how it works and stay until everything does. You sign off on a working system, not a promise.

04

We Stay Available

One local point of contact after the install. Questions and service requests get an answer within 1 business day, from people who know what's on your property.

Frequently Asked Questions

Don't see yours here? Call or write and we'll talk it through before you commit to anything. We'd rather answer questions early than surprise you later.

Ask a Question

Yes. Consultations are free for every major project. We walk the driveway and the house, talk through what you need, and give you an honest recommendation before you commit. You'll know what we'd install, where it would go, and roughly what it costs before you spend a dollar.

NWGA Smart Homes is a LiftMaster, HySecurity, and Ghost Controls gate dealer. We install those brands when they fit the job, and we also modernize existing gates when the fence is solid but the opener is dead.

Yes. A dead gate opener, an aging camera system, Wi-Fi that never covered the house, gear from an installer who stopped answering: we assess what's there and build from it rather than starting over. We'll tell you what is worth keeping.

Both. New construction lets us pre-wire for networking and plan gate power from the start. In existing homes we work with what's there and keep disruption to walls and finishes to a minimum.

We serve homeowners across North Georgia, including Cherokee, Pickens, Dawson, Gilmer, Lumpkin, Fannin, Union, Murray, Hall, and surrounding counties. If you're near the edge of that map, ask anyway and we'll give you a straight answer. See our full service area.

It depends on scope. A Wi-Fi install is usually a day. Gate electronics depend on power, operator size, and site work. Automation or theater work can run longer. You'll have a clear timeline before any work begins.
